What we collect
When you submit a pre-approval form, we collect your name, contact details, employment situation, income, deposit, credit situation, and the type and amount of finance you're seeking. We may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, and how you arrived at our website (UTM parameters and referrer).
When you submit a full finance application, we may also collect identity information, driver licence details, income and employment information, living expenses, assets, liabilities, residency information, supporting documents, and co-borrower information where applicable.
How we use it
We use your information to assess what finance options may be available to you, to share your enquiry with selected lenders on our panel for the purpose of obtaining pre-approval, to communicate with you about your enquiry, and to comply with our regulatory obligations under the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 (CCCFA).
Who we share it with
We share your information with NZ-based lenders on our panel only to the extent necessary to obtain finance options for you. We never sell your personal information.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of any inaccurate information, and request deletion of your information where we no longer have a lawful purpose for retaining it.
